WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a White House press briefing on Tuesday in the Oval Office with Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos, President Trump blistered former President Obama over his alleged commandeering of what could be the biggest political scandal in America’s history.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Friday issued a press release stating that DNI Director Tulsi Gabbard had “revealed overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.”
When asked by a reporter about the Epstein files, Trump dismissed them as nonsense and turned his guns on Obama.
“It should be Obama who’s targeted for criminal liability,” Trump said.
“From what Tulsi [Gabbard] told me she has thousands of additional documents coming,” the President added.
Trump also tied in Hillary Clinton and the Steele dossier, which he said was a “disaster” and a “fraud.”
“We caught Hillary Clinton, we caught Barack Hussein Obama… it’s all there,” Trump added. “It’s time to go after people. It’s criminal.”
“This is like proof that Obama was seditious, that Obama was trying to lead a coup,” Trump concluded.
Johnson to Obama: Come On Down to the Capitol
When asked about allegations, Just The News reported that House Speaker Mike Johnson said he had “no concern” about questioning [President] Obama over the Russia election interference hoax.
“If it’s uncomfortable for him, he shouldn’t have been involved in overseeing this, which is what it appears to us has happened,” Johnson said.
“There’s a lot of allegations on the table. Our job is to go and follow each of those trails and to find out the truth. Those are very serious allegations with very serious implications, but we’re going to have very serious people working on it, and we will get the answers,” Johnson added.
As many can remember, the fake news hyped this phony Russia hoax in lockstep for years.

Wall Street Journal Kicked Out of Scotland Trip
He then turned his attention to the Wall Street Journal newspaper, which the White House press team unceremoniously kicked off Trump’s upcoming Scotland trip due to publishing what the President asserted was a fake story about him writing Jeffrey Epstein a risqué birthday message.
“It’s got a nice name but it’s a terrible paper” and is “corrupt,” Trump said.
When asked about what he’s been told about his assassin in Butler, PA, Thomas Crooks, Trump harpooned the “old” FBI.
“They say they haven’t found anything that was abnormal,” the Commander in Chief said of his would-be assassin. “They say it was just a nut job. But I wouldn’t have believed the old FBI,” Trump maintained.
Regarding the Secret Service, Trump said, “They made a mistake. They should’ve had somebody on that roof.”
Trump added that “everyone should read the Horowitz report on former FBI director [James] Comey. That report shouldn’t be lost.”
On DEM Senator Adam Schiff, Maxwell and Powell
On Dem CA Sen. Adam Schiff’s alleged mortgage fraud, Trump said he’s “staying out of it but it’s mortgage fraud.”
Trump on Ghislaine Maxwell interview: “I don’t know anything about it…I don’t really follow that too much. It’s sort of a witch hunt.”
Asked if he would fire Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, Trump said he’ll be out soon anyway and repeated that he calls him “too late” on lowering interest rates.
“We should be at 1 percent. We should be leading the world,” Trump said.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent then added that he asked the Fed to do an internal investigation on “mission creep” and the Fed needs to “stay in their lane.”
Trade Deal
Later in the day, Trump posted his successful trade deal with Marcos on Truth Social:
“President Ferdinand Marcos, of the Philippines, is just leaving the White House, with all of his many Representatives. It was a beautiful visit, and we concluded our Trade Deal, whereby the Philippines is going OPEN MARKET with the United States, and ZERO Tariffs. The Philippines will pay a 19% Tariff. In addition, we will work together militarily. It was a Great Honor to be with the President. He is Highly Respected in his Country, as he should be. He is also a very good, and tough negotiator. We extend our warmest regards to the wonderful people of the Philippines!”
