The Trump Economy Grows 3.4%, the Fastest Pace in a Year, as Violent Crime Sees a Record Drop — With Election Day Just Days Away on Nov. 3
The Trump economy is surging. New data released Thursday show the economy grew at a 3.4% annual rate in the third quarter, the fastest pace in a year and more than 50% faster than the second quarter. Business investment grew at its strongest pace in nearly 15 years, and consumer spending rose 3.8%. Inflation cooled, too: the PCE price index rose at a 2.1% rate, down from 5.0% the quarter before, and core inflation slowed to 2.5%. And weekly jobless claims fell to 194,000, hovering near their lowest level since 1969.
Americans are also safer. The Justice Department’s National Crime Victimization Survey found that violent crime fell 25% in 2025, the largest one-year drop in the report’s history, according to the White House. Aggravated assaults fell 31% and robberies 27%.
In Georgia, President Trump announced that Audi will build its first American factory, a $4.2 billion plant near Macon expected to create 4,500 jobs. The Administration also secured major energy deals to bring down prices at the pump, from Venezuelan oil to a $54 billion Alaska natural gas pipeline.
The White House warned that Radical Democrats want to take back the tax cuts President Trump delivered, including No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, and No Tax on Social Security. The President also took action to protect American manufacturing of robotics and industrial machinery, signed a technology partnership with Finland, and traveled to Mississippi and Ohio.
With Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and early voting ending this weekend in many states, now is the time to make your plan to vote.
