The Facts:

PRESIDENT TRUMP HAS TAKEN QUICK AND DECISIVE ACTION TO ENSURE THAT THE FAMILY OF GEORGE FLOYD WILL RECEIVE JUSTICE

On May 29, 2020, the Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, who was seen pressing his knee on George Floyd’s neck was arrested and charged with murder.

In a criminal complaint, Prosecutors wrote Chauvin had his “knee on Mr. Floyd’s neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds.”

President Trump immediately denounced the actions of the officer and requested the FBI and the Department of Justice initiate an investigation into the circumstances that led to Mr. Floyd’s death.

President Trump: “My heart goes out to George’s family and friends. Justice will be served.”

President Trump, at a speech at the Kennedy Space Center, underscored further that the death of George Floyd was a “grave tragedy,” and “it should never have happened.”

Following President Trump’s comments, Attorney General William Barr also released a statement calling the death of Mr. Floyd, “deeply disturbing,” and announced the Department of Justice would be conducting an independent investigation to see if any federal civil rights laws were violated.

FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF GEORGE FLOYD, OPPORTUNIST ANARCHISTS, ARSONISTS, CRIMINALS AND OTHERS LOOTED AMERICAN CITIES WHILE LIBERAL POLITICIANS AND THE MEDIA LOOKED ON AND MADE EXCUSES

Across the country, peaceful protests devolved into violence as looters ransacked stores in American cities:
