Spanberger Jumps The Shark on Impeachment – “I’m Voting Yes” – Trump Internal Polling Released

Let Them Eat Cake

U.S. Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA/07) to Trump district voters: screw you…In district Trump carried by 7 points, Spanberger gives her constituents New Jersey salute on impeachment – translation: you Trump voters are way too stupid, anyway…new internal polling shows impeachment endangering all 30 Democrats occupying House seats in districts won by Trump in 2016…new poll shows voters in those districts oppose impeachment by 10 points, 53-43.

From the Richmond Times Dispatch:

Spanberger, a former CIA officer, said in a statement that after reviewing the findings of the investigation and evidence, she believes the president abused the power of his office by “soliciting foreign interference in the 2020 election” and obstructed the congressional inquiry.

“This vote is about more than one man’s abuse of power; it is about the power of the presidency and whether we, as citizens, can expect that our elected officials, and most powerfully, our president, will fulfill their obligation to uphold the Constitution,” she said in a written statement.

“It is with a heavy heart, a solemn devotion to our Constitution, and a deep belief in our country that I believe we must pursue this remedy.”

See ya: you’re down 53-43%

Trump Campaign Releases Congressional Polling

President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign today released new internal polling showing that the issue of impeachment is seriously endangering all 30 Democrats occupying House seats in districts won by Trump in 2016. The Trump campaign commissioned a poll that shows voters in those districts oppose impeachment by 10 points, 53-43.

Voters also favor electing a new person over the incumbent in those districts by 11 points, 47-36.  By enormous majorities, voters also would prefer that Congress work on lowering prescription drug prices, passing new trade deals, and fixing our infrastructure rather than impeaching the President.

The poll does not include New Jersey’s 2nd District, a seat currently held by Rep. Jeff Van Drew.

“These Democrats already knew they were in trouble before the sham impeachment, but now they are in serious jeopardy,” said Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale.  “By moving forward with her political theater of impeachment, Nancy Pelosi has accomplished two things: she has energized the President’s supporters and walked her entire majority caucus off the plank.”
