Abigail Spanberger still backs Democrat AG candidate Jay Jones, even after texts surfaced of him fantasizing about shooting  former GOP Speaker Todd Gilbert and wishing Gilbert’s wife would watch their child die.

Jones called Gilbert and his wife “evil” and said “they’re breeding little fascists.”

By standing with Jay Jones, Spanberger is endorsing someone who talks about killing political opponents to be Virginia’s Attorney General.

There is a pattern of behavior for Spanberger excusing violence.

She has also refused to condemn her team’s celebration of Charlie Kirk’s assassination:

Spanberger campaign spokeswoman Jasmine Frye : “F around and find out. His entire brand was hate and violence; you attract what you preach.”

Spanberger endorser and Chesterfield County School Board member Dorothy Heffron : “Call me old fashioned, but I remember when we used to be okay with shooting Nazis.”

Spanberger also refused to condemn her running mate, Ghazala Hashmi, who agreed that “the majority of voters in Virginia are racist.”

A candidate too cowardly to condemn violent threats and celebrations of violence cannot be trusted to protect Virginians as Governor.
