WASHINGTON, D.C. — Against all odds and defying Republican Freedom Caucus obstructionists and naysayers, President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill is on the cusp of passage.
We are just hours away.
The holdup is House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (The Communist Caucus) using his “magic minute” to drone on while spewing his tired and laughable Medicaid fear tactics: “People will die.”
The reality is simple. To keep benefits if you are able-bodied and have no dependents, you need to:
- Get a job, OR
- Complete 18.5 hours of volunteer work in your community
Frightening!
The jobs report was just released, and once again it crushed economists’ modest expectations, as the country added 147,000 private sector jobs last month.
The Trump economy continues to skyrocket.
Once Jeffries’ whiney diatribe fizzles, the GOP-controlled House appears poised to advance President Trump’s BBB to his desk.
This is the linchpin of President Trump’s second-term legislative agenda.
The robust legislation is packed with the president’s priorities: border and defense funding, plus making permanent his landmark 2017 tax cuts. It will serve as the cornerstone of his administration’s domestic agenda.
No one believed Trump’s arbitrary July 4 deadline could be met.
We did. We know President Trump.
GOP leaders and the White House political team grappled with internal roadblocks for weeks, including Medicaid reform, food stamp reform, green energy credits, and rural hospital funding.
This bill will pass—hopefully by the time you read this.
President Trump will sign it into law on Independence Day, making Americans more independent by lowering taxes on tips, overtime, Social Security, and small business income.
The winners are the American middle class and American workers. Oh, and anybody who lives in Alaska.
Once signed, the U.S. economy will boom.
Next up: Fire Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell on Monday, July 7.
Why wait?
