Democrats have fully rallied behind Tennessee Democrat Aftyn Behn, candidate for Tennessee’s 7th Congressional District in the special election, who wants to abolish police, abolish prisons, and burn down police stations.
Behn has a long history of anti-police rhetoric:
Behn: “Cops do not keep us safe.”
Behn: “Talking to our parents about what police abolition looks like…we can do it, there is a world.”
Behn: “Property can be replaced.”
Behn: “It is not for us to decide, as privileged White people, how marginalized communities express their suffering, and their pain…their generational trauma that has been inflicted upon them by the police, by institutional racism.”
Behn: “You think calling the cops is going to save you?”
Behn on theft: “If you have more…if you have an excess of things, so be it.”
Behn: “Good morning, especially to the 54% of Americans that believe burning down a police station is justified.”
Behn: “Where is the proposal that dissolves @MNPDNashville.”
Democrats are so desperate for power that they’re going all-in on a candidate who wants to dismantle law and order.
