Fox News reports that the Biden campaign is refusing to allow an independent screener to check both men’s ears before the debate begins, a condition requested by the Trump campaign. The Trump camp further claims that Biden had previously agreed to the measure, but has reversed himself at the last minute.
“Joe Biden’s handlers several days ago agreed to a pre-debate inspection for electronic earpieces but today abruptly reversed themselves and declined,” Trump campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh says. “Biden’s handlers have asked for multiple breaks during the debate, which President Trump doesn’t need, so we have rejected that request. On top of the refusal to take a drug test, it seems pretty obvious that the Biden team is looking for any safety net they can find in the hours leading up to the debate. With his 47 years as a failed Washington politician, how much help does Biden want?”
Before inboxes get inundated during the debate tonight, here’s a dose of reality: Across the board, Joe Biden’s 47 years in Washington have been marked with failure.
Biden claims to be a champion of the middle class, but he led the slowest economic recovery since World War II.
Biden supported bad trade deals that gutted American jobs.
- Biden supported NAFTA, a trade deal that killed 700,000 American jobs
- Biden led the initiative to grant China “Most Favored Nation” status as well as supported their membership to the World Trade Organization: 3.4 million American jobs lost and 60,000 American factories eliminated.
Even his own former Defense Secretary said Biden has been, “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”
Now Biden wants to continue his record of failure with an agenda that will hike taxes by $4 trillion.
Under President Trump, the Great American Comeback is underway, with 10.6 million jobs added to the economy in just the past 4 months.
On the world stage, President Trump has negotiated Middle East peace deals, decimated ISIS, and eliminated terrorists like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qassem Soleimani.
And President Trump has kept his promise to replace NAFTA with a fair trade deal, The United States – Mexico – Canada Agreement.
President Trump is also working to secure the border with an expected 450 miles of the wall finished by the end of 2020.
And President Trump reshaping the Federal judiciary at a record pace, following through on his promise to appoint judges who will uphold the Constitution and rule of law.
Bottom Line: Biden failed Americans as a Senator and Vice President over the past 47 years. President Trump is delivering wins for Americans, every day.
